Malga Bassa di Presson - Masi di Ronzola

 Route at the foot of Sasso Rosso, in the Brenta Dolomites.

Easy snowshoeing that develops along marked paths and marked by special signs showing a snowshoe. This itinerary develops in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, at the foot of the beautiful Brenta Dolomites and first reaches some typical mountain farms and, later, a small wooden amphitheater, immersed in silent nature.

Arrival

Presson low mountain hut and return to the starting point

Direction to follow

Park your car at the Piazzale Belvedere in Folgarida, the location from which the cable car leading to the city leaves Campiglio ski area Brenta Dolomites Val di Sole Val Rendena. Staying on the left of the state road (towards Madonna di Campiglio) take the path downstream from the Hotel Belvedere. Follow it slightly downhill and keep right following the signs for the locality 'Ronzola', which you will rarely reach when you see the traditional mountain farms. From there go down towards 'Malga Bassa di Presson'. You will first encounter a fascinating wooden amphitheater on the right, which symbolizes the embrace between man and nature, and then, going up always holding out to the right you will reach the Malga Bassa di Presson, recently renovated.

From here you can return to the starting point by retracing the same itinerary as the outward journey or, alternatively, you can continue along the path that takes you to the SS 239, following which you will return to the car park. Since it is a state road, we do not recommend this alternative but, if you choose it, we invite you to pay close attention to the cars passing by on the road.

Parking

Parking at Piazzale Belvedere in Folgarida.

  • use the mask even in the mountains;
  • keep a safe distance of at least 2 meters from people;
  • avoid exchanging personal effects, tools and water bottles or bottles with other people;
  • bring some sanitizing gel with you to frequently disinfect hands and surfaces;
  • never leave waste at high altitude and, if possible, avoid leaving it at the refuges or mountain huts you visit.
