Madonna della Neve
Madonna della Neve
Madonna della Neve is not served by public transport, it is therefore necessary to go with a private vehicle.
From the A22 Ala - Avio exit, take the road towards Avio and then go up along the Strada del Monte Baldo (SP208) to the junction of Pra da Stua. Here you turn left to Passo della Cola, after which you will soon find the signs for Madonna della Neve.
In Madonna della Neve there are many car parks, we advise you not to leave the car on the side of the road or in the meadows.
From Madonna della Neve go down towards Pian della Cenere and then go up towards Malga Trattesoli - SAT E661 sign corresponding to the forest road - and Malga Lavacchio up to Passo del Cerbiolo. From here the road descends towards Malga Prazzagano and Casera Gambon, up to the Novezzina Refuge. You regain altitude along the Provincial Road no. 8 going up to Passo Cavallo di Novezza. Near the pass you will find a dirt road through the meadows which descends towards the north towards the Campione Pass and the Malga Acque Nere which continues halfway up to the locality of Dossioli. From here the return takes place along the SP230 initially taking for Avio up to the crossroads with signs for Madonna della Neve.
We recommend the use of a helmet.
