Short version of the Dolomiti Trek King, sleeping in a refuge and walking for 4 days on high altitude paths that enter the heart of the Dolomites. The fourth stage will take you from the Baita Cuz refuge to Pozza, through the Val San Nicolò.
From the Baita Cuz refuge, take the forest path downhill that leads to Val San Nicolò. From Saùch, on the opposite side, start climbing again along path no. 640 to reach the alpine lake Lagusel (Lauscel) and follow the L Pief fork. Then, go down path no. 641 and then n. 641/B towards Val Monzoni, first reaching the mountain hut of the same name. Continue downhill to n. 603, passing next to the small church near the Malga al Crocifisso; finally, reach the town of Vidor. You can continue on foot or use the shuttle to get to the town center. Short alternative: from the Saùch locality in Val San Nicolò you can return to Pozza along the asphalt road (about 1 hour to reach the Vidor locality) or use the shuttle bus which leaves every 30 minutes between 8.30 and 18.30 (paid service). Travel time 2.30 hours, from the Baita Cuz refuge to the Vidor area.
