Short version of the Dolomiti Trek King, sleeping in a refuge and walking for 4 days on high altitude paths that enter the heart of the Dolomites. The second stage will take you from Passo Fedaia to Rifugio Contrin.
From Passo Fedaia, near the Marmolada refuge "E. Castiglioni", take trail sign no. 605 which, after an initial bend, bends sharply towards the west. Follow the comfortable mule track that leads to the Hotel Villetta Maria, in Pian Trevisan. From here, always following the n. 605, you head towards the village of Penìa di Canazei. Continue on the dirt road that crosses the Fedaia state road in several places. Finally you enter the woods for a long stretch until you take path no. 602/A which joins the dirt road (trail sign no. 602) which, from Alba di Canazei, goes up the entire Val Contrin to the refuge of the same name, where an overnight stay is planned.
