First stage of the Brenta Dolomites trek which from the Peller refuge leads to the Costanzi bivouac
The SAT 336 "Claudio Costanzi" path connects Pian della Nana to the Graffer Refuge and is overall classified as an Aided Mountaineering Path. The actually equipped section does not fall within the DBT ring and begins at the Pra Castron Pass, under the Cima Sasso Rosso, and reaches the Graffer Refuge: here the path must be tackled with via ferrata equipment and can be treacherous due to the exposure and a very wild and little frequented environment. The section of the SAT 336 path that involves the DBT does not present any technical difficulty and is therefore to be considered a simple hiking trail.

Costanzi bivouac
From Lake Durigat (1869 m) continue along the forest road marked SAT 313 and in 20 minutes you reach a crossroads: from here, going up the Peller Refuge (1990 m) can be reached in 5 minutes.
The DBT proceeds straight along the flat forest road and reaches the Clesera hut (1889 m) in 40 minutes.
From Malga Clesera take the SAT 308 (E) path towards Lago delle Salare (2004 m). The path climbs gently and then becomes steeper. At this point you leave the SAT 308 (E) trail sign which leads to Lago delle Salare and follow the signs for Malga Tassulla to reach the Forcola Pass (2105 m) a little higher up on the left. The view of Mount Peller left behind is beautiful. Travel time Malga Clesera – Forcola Pass 40 minutes.
From the Forcola Pass you descend to the very green Pian della Nana, an area where marmots are often spotted, to rejoin the “Claudio Costanzi” path SAT 336 (EE) which crosses the entire plain passing through the Nana Pass (2195 m) after 1 hour and up to the eastern side of Cima Nana which is 2 hours from the Forcola Pass.
Here you leave the Costanzi path to reach the Selletta della Nana (2530 m) and take the G. Albasini path which descends to the A. Costanzi bivouac (2365 m) in 30 minutes where there is also a spring.
Three car parks available near Durigat Lake.
