Turn-by-turn directions
A well-trodden path (which, however, is not suitable for pushchairs because of all the tree roots and rocky sections) continues steadily uphill through the wood. From the parish church, you go up to the town cemetery where the path runs alongside the walls. You then continue through the fields to the wood. At the first crossroads, go towards Prade until you reach the town of the same name. Here, you go past some houses until you find yourself in front of the church in the centre of the town. From the other side of the road opposite the main entrance, there is a path which leads to the lower part of the town and back through the wood to Canal San Bovo. This last section is very steep, so you should be especially careful if the ground is wet. This walk is well worth doing because of the lovely views and the intense, fragrant wood-scent.
