Fevri mountain hut tour n°965

Medium difficulty excursion which, from Monte Spinale, descends along a dirt road to Madonna di Campiglio.

The scenery from Monte Spinale is priceless: 360° of panorama that sweeps to the north towards the mountains of Val di Sole and the northern Brenta, to the east the Grostè pass and the central Brenta group, to the south the Doss del Sabion and the Val Rendena, to the west the Adamello-Presanella mountain group with the Ortles-Cevedale mountain group in the background.

Arrival

Madonna di Campiglio

Direction to follow

Da Brenta Alta square (Madonna di Campiglio) descend to the right towards Righi square, and then continue along the street Spinal Mountain, where, at the first roundabout, turn left to reach the ski lift Spinale cable car

( Follow signs n° 965). Once you reach the top of the lift, follow the directions for Malga Fevri which lead onto the dirt road. In a south-eastern direction the route begins to descend towards the valley.

Always continue along the main road without following the ski slopes until you reach the Malga Fevri, characteristic small group of houses in the middle of the pasture. Continuing along the dirt road you enter the woods and descend until you reach the ski slope Spinal direct, one of the most adrenaline-filled slopes in the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta ski area. You re-enter the woods to reach a crossroads where you take the third street from right to left, an asphalt road that descends steeply (CAUTION!!!) in the direction of Madonna di Campiglio.

Parking

In Piazza Brenta Alta there is a paid underground car park, or outdoors at the Pradalago cable car station, also for a fee.

  • Always wear a helmet and do not underestimate the degree of difficulty of the route.
  • Be careful when crossing wooden bridges which are often very slippery.
  • Avoid unnecessary braking when the wheel locks, as this will compromise the tread and the surface of the route.
