Tunnels, trenches and stairs hollowed in granite are the key elements that make this trail unique. It develops in Val di Rava and the masterpieces found on the way were made by italian soldiers in 1916.
The works were made in 1916 by the Italian military departments. It is a little frequesntato but of particular beauty. There are no structures managed for a possible lunch, in the huts there are rooms used as bivouac in case of need

From the Valsugana highway 47, take the exit for Strigno and follow the directions for Altopiano del Tesino up to Bieno.

Difficulty E: Excursionistic Route
It is a quite difficult itinerary since it requires a significant physical effort as a consequence of its length. At first, the forest route is followed and when arrived at Localita Fierollo, an alpine environment will represent the framework to the itinerary, with its alpine praries and larches. the path SAT 366 is followed that takes to Cimon di Rava, passing to the sides of the lakes Bella Venezia. After Forcella Fierollo, the masterpieces of the soldiers can be admired together with muletracks, tunnels, trenches, but it is only in the surroundings of the Pinnacolo made of granite, called "Frate", that the visitor has the chance to walk in the trenches but always taking all the necessary safety precautions. Once arrived at Tombolino di Rava, the path goes down along the homonym valley, passing at the side of Lago Grande and Lago di Mezzo, which are two crystaline pearls. The path 322 is then followed to reach Bieno.
Equipment
The usual outfit for excursions to the mountain is advised (trekking clothing and boots, a raincoat in the case of rain).
