1. Tour of Lake Molveno
This beautiful circular tour around Lake Molveno is perfect for a relaxing walk. It is a route suitable for families and children, with refreshment points along the way. The excursion also offers an interesting cultural and historical perspective on the area.
With a length of 10.11 km and an elevation gain of 232 meters, this hike can be completed in approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. The departure and arrival are located at the Molveno Campsite, easily reachable from the Non valley and the Paganella plateau, following the signs for Fai della Paganella – Andalo – Molveno. The itinerary starts from the campsite, proceeding towards the Bridge Romano and Napoleon's Forts, where the homonymous hut is located. From here, continue along the western side of the lake until you reach the panoramic path that runs along the eastern shore. The return to Molveno takes place via the Re dei Belgiani path and the Bior bridge, offering enchanting views of the lake and the surrounding nature.

For those arriving by car, many public car parks are available in the lido area. Furthermore, it is also possible to reach the starting point by public transport, using Trentino Trasporti line 611. This excursion is recommended at any time of the year, but it is always good practice to check the conditions of the route and the weather forecast before leaving.
2. Malga Tovre, La Montanara Refuge… In the heart of the Brenta Dolomites
This excursion of medium difficulty is accessible to everyone, including children if trained. The itinerary leads to the heart of the Brenta Dolomites, offering breathtaking views and the possibility of visiting the Croz dell'Altissimo refuge or the La Montanara refuge.
The route extends for 7.54 km, with a difference in altitude of 451 metres, and takes approximately 3 hours to complete. The highest point reached during the excursion is at 1535 meters, while the lowest point is at 1288 meters.
The departure and arrival of this excursion are located at the mountain station of the Molveno – Pradel cable car. To reach the starting point, you can follow the SP 64 from Trento north towards Fai della Paganella – Andalo – Molveno, until you reach the ski lifts for the Pradel Plateau. Paid public parking is available at the start of the cable car or in the immediate vicinity.
The excursion begins with a cable car ascent, offering a spectacular panoramic view. From Pradel, we proceed along the track towards the Malga Tovre educational farm, where it is possible to observe the production of cheese. Subsequently, you reach the La Montanara Refuge, known for its panoramic point of the Brenta Dolomites. For more adventurous hikers, it is possible to extend the route to the Croz dell'Altissimo refuge, following the “Grotte” path n. 340B. The return to Pradel can take place along path no. 340 or through the Val delle Seghe forest road up to Molveno.
3. Molveno – Ciclamino and Sant'Antonio
An easy walk in the immediate vicinity of Molveno, ideal for families and also suitable for strollers. This circular route offers panoramic views and refreshment points along the way.
4. El Caputel – Path between History and Nature
This new itinerary in stages allows you to discover Molveno and its cultural and naturalistic treasures. It is a scenic route suitable for families and children, combining natural beauty with cultural and historical relevance.
